Georgia State pregame

Georgia State (7-18, 4-11 CAA) travels to Trask Coliseum tonight to take on UNCW (17-10, 10-5). UNCW comes in having won 8 of the past 10, with both losses coming in the final minute by a combined 10 points. The most impressive of those victories came last week, in an emotional win at George Mason, a place the Seahawks hadn't won since 2001.

The Panthers are coming off an upset victory of Northeastern, a win that ended a four game losing streak. Don't let the Panthers' record fool you -- they're a dangerous team, capable of big upsets. Along with Northeastern, they also beat George Mason in Atlanta. They also went on the road to beat Delaware.

UNCW's first victory over Georgia State was a turning point in the season for the Seahawks. Having lost four of six, and with a promising season on the verge of collapse, UNCW rallied for a 68-61 win in Atlanta. It proved that the Seahawks could come from behind at the half, as well as play well towards the end of a close game.
